Koufax Awards Finals

[Staying up top for a few days. Scroll down for new content.]

The votes in the Koufax semifinals have been tallied, and as of Monday night, 3/20/, I am a finalist in the running for the following Koufices:

Best Writing;
Best Commenter;
Best Post (for Life and Death.)

If you didn’t check out the competition in the last round, you ought to do so. There are some wonderful blogs and commenters in the lineup in each category. There are few people with whom I’m “competing” to whom I’d mind “losing.” That said, if you wish to, I would very much appreciate a vote for me left in comments at any of the above posts (though were I to choose one on which to concentrate, it would be Best Writing.) I’m up against talented writers with ten or a hundred times my traffic, so your vote does count, if only to make me feel warm and appreciated.

(If you voted for me before Monday the 20th, that was the first round. This is the final round: go vote again.)

And that’s just three categories. There are lots more, with many worthy blogs having made the first cut. Check them out, and leave a vote or two for your favorites. (One per category, though.)

For those of you coming in from Wampum, welcome! If this is your first time here, I’ve chosen somewhat arbitrarily some recommended posts. Actually, I’ve chosen them even if it’s not your first time here. Take a look around. Leave a comment or two.

And all of you: please consider dropping some change in the Wampum Family Tip Jar. Nominations are way up from last year, and donations way down. Help the gang over there out: they provide a huge service to the left blogging community and they deserve your support.

    Was I right?  Was I right?  Ha!  I was so right.  I want an “I was right” pony.

    Congratulations, my man.
