This humble web-based writing form has been nominated for “Best Blog” and “Best Writing” — and yours truly as Best Commenter — in the 2005 Koufax Awards.

In each category, there are many nominees I’d vote for instead of me. But that’s just the kind of thing I would say.

I’ll post the link to the place to vote when it comes up so that you can all go vote for PZ or Rana or whoever. In the meantime, go check out the nominees, and if you don’t see your favorite blog nominated in the appropriate categories, nominate it!

Update: because Dwight and Mary Beth, hosts of the awards, specifically suggested it, I went ahead and self-nominated myself for Best Post for this old thing from way back in March. I’m also going to self-nominate myself for a Nobel Peace Prize in Medicine. Then I’m gonna hop in the shower.
