Of all the crenellated, yonic, dark velvety purple reproductive organs I’ve seen all day, this is my favorite. I think it’s time to take myself and my new camera out on a hike.
Of all the first sentences I’ve read today, this is my bestest favoritest.
I don’t have a camera, new or old, but I did hike this morning, over near Mt. Tam, and OMG, the irises, poppies, shooting stars, monkeyflowers…. And lots of little waterfalls. Every year the flowers keep blooming, no matter how obnoxious we are. It’s awesome.
Oh my gosh. Michigan is lagging so far behind; I’ve only got crocus blooming. I long to see the iris unfolding, but that seems a month away. Your photo will keep me looking for every hint of stem growth.
Gorgeous. The daffodils are just starting to pop in Conneticut and I spent hours this weekend hunting the readiest. Thanks for the “velvety purple” eye feast this afternoon.
just read your profile — sounds like you’ve been to the andes. you like cuys and huayno. peace.
p.s. i hate the way they serve cuy in the andes — all spread out on the plate, head and all, and looking very crunchy.

Beautiful! You had me at ‘yonic.’ =)
Very nice. I’m sure you’ll love the new camera. I went to dSLR a year ago with the Nikon D70, and never looked back.
Here are my shots of the Phildelphia Flower Show (warning, several megabytes of files here):

I think lima pup’s last sentence qualifies as “comment of the week.”
Um, forgive my ignorance, but what does “yonic” mean?
I second Mike A. on the Nikon D70; it’s amazing.
Yonic = like a yoni, I’m guessing.
(Note: do not google for “yoni” at work.)
