It’s not because Feministe is no longer in my blogroll. It’s because Lauren is no longer at Feministe.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I can certainly relate. On the other, how come she has the guts to quit blogging and I don’t?

Lauren was one of the first very popular bloggers to notice Creek Running North and send traffic this way. Some of you are no doubt reading this as a result of her thoughtfulness, which she maintained even when I trod on her toes. She’s the best friend-I’ve-never-met-who’s-less-than-half-my-age I’ve got, and I wish her well.

And it looks like Feministe is in excellent hands, even if you do as I do and mainly read the rss so as not to be bothered by repetitive, conservative trolls.

   I think I started reading CRingN long about the last time you took Lauren off your blogroll. At the time, I didn’t know what a blogroll was or why anybody would give a fig about one.

   I still kind of don’t get it.
