Yucca moths

Beth and Dave’s online literary magazine, qarrtsiluni, has been publishing material with an insect-related theme these last weeks, and today’s offering is an excerpt of the chapter on yucca moths from my forthcoming Joshua tree book. There’s an audio version read by yours truly.

Go check it out.

Yeah, okay, I’ll buy the book. Is 2008 too soon to hope for it?

Thanks, I enjoyed reading that. Coevolution is a marvelous thing.
For some reason, the first paragraph (on the Mojave in flower) put me in mind of my favorite desert annual, and I bet you like it too: Caulanthus inflatus. Man, I gotta get back out there.

I read your Samuel L. Jackson as Cowboy Curtis scene on FauxRealTho. Please tell me I can re-post it on my blog and link back to you here. It is pure win.
