Beth knows me so well...

...because she knew exactly what kind of photo to pass along to cheer me up. From the Dino-Fossils Montreal exhibition, featuring a visiting colllection of Chinese fossils.

Puts my coffee table to shame.

Ha. Almost daily we urban apartment dwellers are submitted to the scenic beauty that people such as yourself are daily treated to out your enviable windows. You get birds and wildflowers. We get pigeons and concrete. Well! Wonders never cease. Curious circumstance has mysterioiusly deposited a bit of nature in our back yard today--and it's not pigeons and it's not the rats crawling in and out of the garbage bins. And I'm just so excited about it I had to go and show off.
