Dogcision 2005: early returns

In the first full day of polling - amid controversy over unclear ballot requirements and allegations of ballot box stuffing - exit polls in the Zeke v. Cody "Best Dog" election stood at Zeke 13, Cody 5. We remind our viewers that exit polls are unscientific, and that multiple people have claimed to have voted for both candidates. One box of butterfly ballots was spoiled when the contestants chased and ate all the butterflies. An independent observer hires by the Dogby polling group predicted that "It's going to be that damn chad thing all over again. Mark my words."

Chad, a Paramus, NJ Labradoodle accused of ballot tampering in the Dog Decision 2000 election, was unavailable for comment at press time.

Vote Early and Often! But be sure to review the candidates' position statements here.
