The dog race horserace

Cody for Best Dog campaign director tost has provided a few new campaign photos of his candidate. The race draws tighter as polling enters its third day.

The polls remain open for another week and a half.

Pundits note that Cody's campaign team seems to have refined its message since the early days of the campaign, with the new photos featuring blatant appeals to the dog youth vote. We at Zeke in 2005 campaign headquarters would just like to state for the record that we condemn such pandering.

We were checking out the Doggie_Scoop_.com wire, and this just came in:

D_S_.com has learned that, in a bid to “staunch the bleeding” and reverse recent troubling poll numbers, unnamed sources close to the Zeke camp have held secret discussions with Karl Rove, the brilliant but troubled political strategist. Rove is currently in hot water at the White House as a result of numerous moral and ethical lapses, and many pundits believe he may face jail time. Still, his skill at transforming a sow’s ear into a silk purse is legendary, and the Zeke team’s “Take No Prisoners” attitude makes Rove a natural choice for a campaign that seems to have run out of options.

We at “Cody for Top Dog” believe it is unfair of Doggie_Scoop_.com, or any other internet site, to run such unsubstantiated innuendo. But on the chance that there’s any truth at all to the D_S_.com report, we urge Zeke and his handlers to “Just Say No” to professional political operatives.
