While we wait for news...

... it's worth watching this January 2005 NOVA segment on hurricane research, using New Orleans as a catastrophe scenario. There are some downright spooky images here, given the last few hours.

Chris-- I remember watching this NOVA segment when it came out. I thought of it many times yesterday, as I tried to imagine the city being engulfed by the rising water and could recall how it was depicted in the documentary.
