Heroes

Via Stephan, a report by tourists caught in NOLA during the "breakdown of society."

Executive summary: neighbors banded together, going to extreme lengths to help one another and the few emergency responders in the city.

Oh, and there were thugs there with guns, who threatened people in the neighborhood for no apparent reason. They all had NOPD police uniforms on.

God. I am so mad. So awestruck. So in love with humanity, and so horrified by it.

Chris, doesn't Zeke want to go for a walk right now? Doesn't the bunny need a cuddle? Go do that.

I'm going to go hang out in the empty lot by my school with the wildflowers and the bugs for a while.
