there is no way i'd second-guess anyone's decision in a situation like this. how dare anyone think they can decide, as a blanket matter, what a family should do?

I love that man's mind. It works with such beautiful efficency. Unfortunately, such purity is wasted on the Brownbacks of this world. They are incapable of even recognizing it, let alone being affected by it. They have enough to do trying to figure out the inscrutable workings of their own minds. Parts of their brains have been so dimmed with dogma, they are now inaccessable to their owners. Or so I would like to believe in the face of the kind of stupid cruelty that would use a 14 year old with Downe's Syndrome as a prop.
