I was reading your past blogs and such and I came across an Iowa one. I thought it was lovely. It looked like a poem to me. Anyhow, I hate it when people tell me I am not Norwegian because of my brown eyes. Norwegians are not all blond and blue eyed. Some people are just ignorant. We have Italy in our lines too, a great grandmother BUT get this... her hair was RED! My great grandpa walked off of the ship from Norway and touched American soil with brown eyes. Get this...he was a FULL BLOODED NORWEGIAN.
I am enjoying your blogs and will have to keep checking back and reading more. I found this searching on google images "hens and chicks" and I clicked to look at the pic and I found this GREAT blog.
