Dark as a dungeon

I keep hearing this song in my head today. I usually like it when that happens: what other folk song refers to geologic deep time in its verses?

that mining company ought to be out of business. 200 safety violations in just one year - and those are likely only the ones reported. bet you anything a lot more was going on.

Tragic, heartbreaking night.

And the highest fine the fuckers paid on those violations was a couple thousand bucks.

The next "libertarian" I hear whining about unions is gonna get it.

And many of those violations concerned failure to vent the mine adequately. Fuckers. My family is from West Virginia.
