They thought we would get a straight martial beat and we got that disgusting syncopation instead. I kept waiting for it to stop and it just seemed to keep on going.

Yeah, I thought of that too, Craig, and then I read some of the background info. He'd originally intended to include deaths of Iraqis and gave up for lack of reliable data.

Oh God. Not something I should have looked at at 6:00 in the morning. Though it might sound cold, I'm sort of glad it didn't show Iraqi deaths... that would have been unbearable (not that this was any more bearable...).
