More than a year...
... since the world has had Carla in it, and I still haven't found the right person to complain to.

Chris, your posts about the people in your life help the rest of us -- me, anyway -- to remember as well. So when you find the complaint department, please let me know. I have a few of my own to register.
Posted by: Charles at February 13, 2006 02:15 PMChris, this post reminds me of a wonderful woman who does radio programming at KZSC 88.1 on the campus of UCSC. Rose Lobel has a severe case of cerebral palsy and is probably the only voice-disabled programmer in the country. You can hear her live-streaming on Tuesdays between noon and 2:00 pm. She's had the show for years. When I was the assistant director of student media on campus, I was the print advisor, but I thought I should know something about broadcast (the other half of our program), so I took the class and was mentored by Rose. It was a remarkable experience. I hadn't thought of it in years, but your story of Carla reminded me of another strong vibrant woman with cerebral palsy.
