How Wet Is It?

There's pond scum in the back yard where the grass used to be.

I am not exaggerating. Green algae. The underwater kind. And it's raining again now.

eww. we are having a bumper crop of the little green moss that grows on rocks. it is pretty and everything, nice to see! but it is growing on the rocks of a 50 year old retaining wall, and i'm kind of hoping the wall continues retaining, what with the rain and the moss and everything.

Friend of ours said he has moss where he's never had moss before.

Maybe I should rephrase that.
